FreshWhips is a small car detailing business. This page explains what we do with the information you give us, in plain terms.

1. What we collect

When you send a booking request, you give us:

  • Your name
  • Your mobile number
  • Your email address, if you choose to add one
  • The make, model and year of your vehicle
  • Anything you type into the notes box

That is the whole list. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or third-party trackers on this site, so we do not collect your browsing history, your location, or anything you have not typed in yourself.

2. Why we collect it

To confirm your booking, turn up at the right place at the right time, bring the right equipment, and contact you if something changes. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not send newsletters.

3. Storage on your device

If you start filling in the booking form and leave without finishing, your browser keeps what you typed on your own device so you do not have to type it again. This never leaves your computer or phone.

The first time you visit, we ask whether you are happy with this. If you say no, the same information is held only until you close the tab. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising or measurement.

4. Who else sees it

Your booking details go to the person who will be detailing your car. To run the booking system we use a few service providers, who handle your details only to provide that service to us:

  • Render hosts this website and the booking system.
  • Supabase stores the booking database.
  • The companies that deliver our texts and emails carry the messages we send you, such as your login code and booking confirmation.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Booking messages are kept for up to two years so we have a record of work done and can look up a repeat customer. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it

Email book@freshwhipsdetailing.com and we will deal with it within 45 days. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we extend them to everyone because keeping two systems would be silly.

7. Photographs of your vehicle

We sometimes photograph finished work for the gallery on this site and for social media. We ask before taking photos, and you can say no without it affecting anything. We do not publish number plates, house numbers or anything else that identifies where you live. If something of yours is already published and you want it taken down, email us and it will be removed.

8. Children

This site is meant for adults booking a service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the home page for a month.
